Obviously, I'm biased. But this doesn't diminish from the quality of my show! The slam has been going for almost eight years now, and always packs the joint with 100-300 poets, fans, tourists, and curious onlookers. It's a melding of poetry and music and performance, of gladiator combat and group therepy. One of the top poetry slams in the world, ranked in the 10 at Nationals virtually every year.
