Finally a great restaurant in pacifica!
Sure there are some casual spots to grab a quick bite that are pretty good, but Pacifica is a wasteland if you’re looking for a decent restaurant that is date-worthy and offers really good food. Not any more.
Barolo Restaurant is a little gem of a restaurant tucked into the Pedro Point area. The atmosphere is very nice, even cozy. The food is awesome. We shared the fried calamari with onions, fennel and marinara, the butternut squash ravioli with sage, cream, toasted hazelnuts and truffle oil, and the beef short ribs with carrot puree, brussel sprouts and a pan sauce. The food was prepared beautifully, presentation was gorgeous and everything was delicious. Finished off the meal with espresso but if we had a little more room the warm chocolate cake with whipped crème fraiche and a port wine Bing cherry sauce was totally calling my name. I’ll definitely be back again soon!
