Worst service I have experienced in the East Bay
I recently went there with my sister for lunch for her birthday and had the worst experience with the wait staff. We walked in and sat at what we thought was a clean table. The waitress asked us in the rudest way possible if we did not read the sign that said to sit at a clean table. I was completely taken back by how she approached us. She then went on and on about how difficult her job was and how we should be able to read signs etc. I first apologized which did not get us anywhere as she was still going on and on. At that point, I asked to speak to the manager, he just seemed dumbstruck after we described what the waitress had said to us and did not say much but "sorry". At that point we both left the restaurant. The situation left both my sister and I both very upset as well as shocked to be treated that way at a restaurant. We will definitely not go back there nor recommend this restaurant to anyone based on the very rude manners and poor customer service of the wait staff, as well as the complete lack of responsibility of the management.
On a positive note, after leaving this restaurant we found the best breakfast nook, just a few blocks away on 2454 Sacramento Street called Homemade Cafe. Great service and yummy food!!
