Decent Veggie Options
I went here a week ago for lunchwith a co-worker and was rather impressed. Having never previously heard of Atlas Cafe, I really had no preconceived ideas of what it was going to be like and no high expectations to be met. I was pleasantly surprised by their vegan options and how accomodating they were at making adjustment requests. Also, I just really liked the feel of the place--good ambiance. - Christina , posted 04/05/06

all that, and the pizzas are good too
I love a good pizza, and the Atlas Cafe does not disappoint. I recommend their apple and cheese pizza; it may sound strange, but the combination of the cheese, apples, and pesto tomato sauce dances in my mouth.

Also, being from South Carolina, I miss bluegrass. The Thursday night bluegrass shows are fun and recommended. - Unsubscribed , posted 02/26/06

Yummy veggie options.
Fabulous vegetarian options and I luv their "no cheese" pizza. Great patio. Usually there is parking 'round the block. Fun place to study or to meet others. Like the Bluegrass (check schedule on web site for more info) and love the big magazine rack. - Abi , posted 01/25/06

they've got EVERYTHING!
The Atlas cafe is a great place for lunch, a snack, a beer or coffee!

They've got great vegetarian and vegan options for a full meal, treats for snacky times, tasty beverages, and a great indoor or outdoor atmosphere to enjoy them in. Wireless for when you're hanging out with your trusty laptop, and a good environment to chat when you hanging out with humans. - Jenni , posted 04/01/05

Yummy yummy
The Atlas Cafe has amazing vegetarian fare! Where else in town can you get a super tasty yam or roasted beet sandwich AND a beer? Damn, I'm hungry now! - Unsubscribed , posted 12/21/04

downhome cafe with outdoor patio
I'm like a plant that needs the sunlight, so when I need to get some work done and it's foggy everywhere else in the city, I'll head to Atlas blessed by the sunbelt and with tables outside. and if it's cold you can ask them to blaze the heat lamps. They also host some fun bluegrass there, I think on Thurs eves. - Elizabeth , posted 10/18/04

A jewel of cafes hidden in the mission
I used to work nearby to this cafe. This food is some of the best lunch fair in the city! It even has a pretty little outdoor seating area for the those nice sunny mission afternoons. - Jon , posted 10/16/04

Best food at a cafe
Atlas Cafe is a great little cafe/art gallery in the Mission District of San Francisco. The food here is fantastic with a great vegetarian and vegan selection. They have a great outdoor patio that's open year around for smokers and those who want to enjoy the outdoors. It's even open in winter - they cover it with a large canopy. And dogs are allowed on the patio too. They also offer wi-fi. - Melanie , posted 10/16/04

Roasted Yam Sandwhich
I also highly suggest the tuna salad. And the coffee is superb. Wireless internet available. - Harvey , posted 10/15/04

Best soup in the city
I'm addicted to their soups. Always changing, and always good. Chicken tortilla w/ guacamole on top, carrot & ginger, lentil, corn, even the apple curry soup was great. - Renny , posted 10/15/04
