I've had bad experiences there, but they're getting better.
I was really disappointed that I had to jump through hoops to get my computer looked at, but I have since gone back to buy some accessories and found people to be pretty helpful. Some of the staff now carry hand-held scanners so that they can check you out right there on the floor which I think really helps out with the lines for the cash registers! - Jenni , posted 09/15/06

2nd Leading Cause of Smug
First is still Hybrid Cars, but coming in at a distant second is the Genius Bar. It's as if the most obnoxious guy in my IT dept was hired on to work at the GB on weekends, but instructed to do so with 30% more of an "i'm better than you" attitude.

Great Product Design, but tone down the pretentiousness just a bit... - Jason , posted 04/12/06

I dig macs
And their store is okay too. They've got a used/refurbished table in there every once in a while. And yes, it does get busy in there. I only wish they could fix hardware in store. - Clear , posted 05/16/05

Frustating place to do business
Why is Apple my favorite corporation yet least favorite store? They've sorted me out pretty well at the store in the past when I've had problems with my computers, but it's also taken me 30 minutes to go in there and buy something when I know exactly what I need. The place is just too understaffed to deal with the hordes of confused Apple users who flock there. If you're going to use the genius bar to get tech support, make sure you sign up online ahead of time to reduce your wait from 3+ hours to a mere 1. - Gareth , posted 10/06/04

Latest Apple Gear And Knowledgeable Staff
Go to the Apple Store to try out the latest Macintoshes, iPods and accessories. Get technical help from the sales staff or one of the experts at the Genius Bar. Fun but can get really crowded on weekends. Free parking. - arthur , posted 10/06/04
