Fun place to bike!
Take the ferry to Angle Island with your bike or rent one on the island. Enjoy a great day of family fun, sightseeing the entire bay, while biking around the island. Bring a picnic or enjoy refreshments from the snack bar. - Jacqueline , posted 07/02/07

You'll Love Angel Island!
Take your mountain bike, or rent one there for 10 bucks an hour, it's a five mile trek around in a circle, the views are stellar in every direction, 10 bucks, to ride the ferry round trip, two hours is perfect to have a nice relaxing ride around the loop, take time to see look outs and read all the interesting history, only draw back is the little food store or cafe' ... you would hope for something better or more healthy options a least... Suggestion, pack your own in and out of there... - John , posted 06/08/06

Easiest Getaway for the weekend
So, you take the ferry over to the island with a bike, a backpack and a tent and go camping with a great view of the city. Once the last ferry leaves the island your practically alone too, with the exception of a few park rangers. The old abandoned military houses and hospitals are creepy and atmospheric as well. - John , posted 10/15/04

Great overnight if you can get a reservation.
The only drawback is that the last ferry leaves Tiburon at 4, so you have to leave work early. - Jess , posted 10/14/04

Could you really get bored here
From camping to hiking to bike rental there was so much to do. The ferry ride from tiburon is short but beautiful. So many places to picnic for the day. I was also suprized to find that this was the "ellis island" of the south. Housing an imigration station on the west side of the island. With sweeping panaramic views I recomend this place highly - desiree , posted 10/08/04
