Tapa The World!
If you like small plates and like affordable prices you will love Andalu. The dishes are simple and flavorful and fuse many culinary traditions in surpring and tasteful combinations. I enjoyed the Gala Apple with Chesse fondue, a lovely creamy and pungent mix of fine cheeses served with fresh apples and cracker toast bread, a robust and flavorful concoction. The grilled shrimp with Romesco was flavorful with smoky undertones and complimented with the fresh and spicy-sweet tastes of the Red Bell Pepper Romesco. I follwed this with some fried dungeness crab and a tangy ginger sauce which complemented the shellfish beautifully, this was followed by the final small plate of the evening which was polenta French Fries in the shape of crescent moons served with a tomato herb vinagrette very delicious and polenta is one of my favorite bulk grain pasta's! I highly recommend Andalu and it is great if you have friends with you because you can all share these wonderful small plate treats, plus the waiters are generally extremely attractive!
