Hey if you have not heard this woman or even if you have take another look. I worked with her on a play a few years back and its so great to see her continue to mature, the integrity and the craft were always there, but there's something new in her voice these days, she's the real deal. Her chops are right there, the jazzy arrangements are spot on and her songwriting is starting to reach a mighty nice new level of lucidity and beauty. Kevin Carnes' is a perfect fit, his percussive skills lend Amy's vocals just the right structure. Great reflective listening. - francesca , posted 08/16/06 |
