Tuvan throat singer covers pop
"Re-Covers" is certainly a novel album. Albert's proficiency in the Kargyraa form is impressive. His Tuvan style covers of modern classics from Led Zeppelin, Joy Division, and Kraftwerk are a bit silly of course, and they may not be something you'd want to listen to over and over again. www.yat-kha.com/html/what/...ecovers.php The first thing I think of is the soundtrack from the documentary "Ghengis Blues", where the American Blues singer goes to Tuva and learns the Kargyraa style. In this case, a Tuvan comes to the U.K. and records some of the American music he heard on the radio as a child. It is proof that the universe is still expanding.
