Outdoor museum
The albany bulb, over by the race track, is a great place to go for a run, walk your dog, or just explore on a lazy day. When I went we walked around from the left and followed the path made of concrete slabs dragged down, one by one, by the homeless guy who used to live in the castle above. That was our second destination. This man built himself a two story castle from the remains of whatever used to occupy the bulb. (Military?) It's very impressive. After that we came to an oudoor sculpture garden. All of the sculptures were made from random scraps, trinckets, wires, whatever came in handy. There is also a wall collage that you could get lost in. Keep going and you'll see even bigger sculptures - dinosaurs and gigantic sponge people. Beyond that there is a line up of large murals. They are museum quality, although the older ones are beginning to fade from exposure. I could go on and on, but it's best to just go see for yourself. And it's free!
