wow multiple lines cost a lot !!
Are you aware that a DSL line provides standard telephone service as well ??? No need for a separate line as people usually do with dial-up service ...

Also, have you explored just having one DSL line and all of you simply split the cost for the service ... ???

aI put in a wireless network in our home and it can service several computers via the wireless router that the DSL line is hooked to .. our DSL line also hosts our primary telephone number ...

I'm guessing that the group in your house is paying way more than they need to if they have DSL and standard phone service on separate pairs ...

The network box has a special security screw that opens the telco side of the boxl.. the customer side usually just has a standard slotted screw for a standard screw driver.. at worst, you may need an allen hex key, though not likely ...
