This film was simply excellent. Though to be honest, if you got all the talent in this film and had them read the phone book, it would be inspiring. Well directed by Robert Altman this film basically chronicles the last performance of one of the last American live variety radio shows. The amazing ensemble cast of this movie is inspiring. I wish more studios would produce scripts of this nature because watching all these master performers do their thing together is a modern marvel. Every beginning acting class in the country should be required to view this film. Even, pop star of the month, Lindsay Lohan did an admirable job. Take my word for this, she is here to stay. But to be honest, everyone in this film gave 100% and it shows. Films like this don't come along too often, if you get a chance please see this film. You won't be sorry. Expect to hear of this film come Oscar time. My final grade for the film, a well deserved, solid "A" - Unsubscribed , posted 06/12/06 |
