Good place to study
I HATE crowded places overflowing with students. I'm always on the hunt for a nice quiet place with few distractions as possible. This place is great. Its right near Safeway and a whole bunch of other cute shops. This is one of those places you can just sit down and stay for a LONG time without people giving you those mean "leave please" looks.

Though theres a sign that says there are no bathrooms inside...its there in the back. However, its the most disgusting bathroom I have been to (I would compare it to a Chinese restaurant bathroom). The door is so hard to close and the floors are sticky with I don't know what...gross.

But...as long as you steer clear of the bathroom...you're good. This place is great! - Unsubscribed , posted 07/02/07

Good Tea and Good Food
This great little spot is wi-fi ready, has great food, and great tea. If you drink coffee, they've got that too. I especially like their sandwiches. - Alan , posted 10/20/04

good place to study
A Cuppa Tea is a great place to go to read a book or write. The coffee is good and the staff is friendly. The room in back also has an adequate amount of electic sockets for lap tops and good lighting. Also available is outdoor seating. Frequent drinker cards are available too (free cup after 10). - Larisa , posted 10/09/04

Great Tea and Comfortable - When It's Not Crowded
Cuppa Tea took over a space I'd enjoyed in its incarnation as the now-defunct Mocha Lisa, right around the time that I had to give up my coffee addiction and fell back on black tea as my salvation. It was a good match. Cuppa serves lots of interesting tea varieties (which are fairly well explained on their menu for those who might be trying something new.) I am very partial to their lemon bars and Himalayan Milk Tea (hot brewed black tea with condensed milk, which tastes just a little bit like a hot thai iced tea but less sweet.) They also offer a light menu of salads and panini from their kitchen.

Oh, and a little thing called wi-fi. :) - Belle , posted 10/06/04
