Great cafe for people-watching and hanging out
This is a great place for a leisurely snack, with both outdoor and indoor seating. The spinach salad and the "melt" sandwiches are very tasty, as are the frozen coffee drinks. If you like people watching and/or want a lively place to study, this is a good place for you in Menlo Park. Free parking is available in an underground garage. - Michele , posted 09/13/04

good coffee & food in menlo park
A good place to get coffee, and it has a lot of food (lunch/dinner/desert/wine). Great outdoor area, though there are usually a lot of people. Next to a local independent bookstore (Keplers). - Anja , posted 09/12/04

Great Cafe With Outdoor Seating
Cafe Boronne in Menlo Park is a European type hangout smack in the middle of Silicon Valley. Next door to one of our best bookstores, Kepler's. On a sunny warm spring day everyone's out. It's the only place like it in the Valley! - Megan , posted 09/09/04

Great food and coffee in Menlo Park
Cafe Borrone is a great place to get a cup of coffee (I highly recommend the Mexican Mocha or the Chai) and sit outside and talk with friends, or get a meal as well. It's located right by Kepler's Books, and always busy for a really nice location and atmosphere. Try to stake out a table early if you want to study there, it gets crowded with students quickly. - Graham , posted 09/09/04
