didn't think I'd have to post for this again this year; signed a rental agreement in northwest Berkeley last March to share a small but comfortable cottage with a great garden. but there are complications - think "girlfriend who needs a place to live too" and it looks like Lia and I need to move again. prefer to be right in Berkeley or very nearby.
shared house, a separate small place, maybe even the right 2 bedroom apartment all could work. we have 2 cats (good rodent control, quiet and friendly pets), some terrarium and aquarium turtles, and a gentle sulcata tortoise.
ideal placer: a bedroom for each of us, garden space (I'm a good organic gardener), vegetarian-friendly kitchen. We live quite happily without TV or microwave oven, but we can be flexible. teen active in community theater and music productions. we like very low off-stage drama! meditation practice, nonviolent community activist orientation. mom is school teacher probably returning to grad school soon.
please e-mail with good housing leads. can trade for some elder or child or dependent care, errands, gardening, etc.
