The Education for Action Program Intern will support Bioneers’ formal education program by working with the Program Manager on key program activities. This is an excellent opportunity to develop skills that both directly resonate with your personal interests, and affect real, wide-spread change. The primary purpose of the internship is to develop and execute a project plan for this program’s services. The role will include some administrative duties and will invite creativity and leadership to take ownership of projects, helping to advance key areas of the program’s current activities. • Conduct outreach, interviews and content development for Bioneers media website, BioneersNet, launching in May ’12.
• Research, develop and implement strategy for disseminating Beaming Bioneers (locally organized Bioneers Conferences) more widely across college and university campuses.
• Co-facilitate production of education-specific programming at the national 2012 Bioneers Conference.
• Create and execute e-communication and marketing campaigns to expand educational community and program’s reach into new markets
• Spearhead development and fundraising efforts for educational initiatives by researching foundations and co-drafting grant proposals.
• Provide administrative support with data entry, contact management and additional ongoing program related tasks as necessary.
