We are a lovely multicultural family of three: mom is a licensed health care professional and owns a home for over 7 years in Berkeley but cannot afford to live there due to divorce and can't sell because the market is on a down turn. My kids are wonderful: spunky, feisty girls with great awareness of self and the world and filled with the right blend of attitude and compassion. So, here's our ideal scenerio: long term (12-24 months) house sit or pet sit (my eldest daughter loves cats) or elderly care in a 1-2 bedroom garden detached unit with tons of plants and trees to adore. Mom has worked extensively in physical therapy and psychotherapy so an elderly care opportunity would be ideal. We understand chronic medical conditions and disabilities intimately. $0-600 month rent in combination with a work exchange is our ideal financial goal as well. Many thanks.
