Welcoming to ALL levels of serious
(and sometimes silly) writers
The ELYSEUM Writers Wordshop
members gather every week
to offer fun sessions of writing excercises
and very supportive, constructive cross-genere critique.

Poetry, Prose, Journalism, Drama...
Childrens books, SciFi, Horror, Erotica...
-many forms of writing have found a home in ELYSEUM.
The idea of cross-genre critique is that writers of any genre
can have something to offer any other genre
in a constructive critique environment.

-The poet can help the novelist with compelling language,
-A slam poet can show the memoir writer how to give a story voice,
-The journalist can help the poet with clarity and accessiblity,
-The playwrite can help with dialogue,
-the SciFi writer can bring imaginative ideas to a play,
-etc. etc. etc...

-in other words: *no more preaching to the choir!*
Get your message across and your story heard
in an effective and compelling manner!
(-and connect with a group
of fun and dedicated writers,
over half of whom are published
and/or working in the writing field)

Founded by award-winning poet and journalist
Russell Reza-Khaliq Gonzaga,
ELYSEUM has both attracted and fostered
a good number of remarkable literary talents.
