Sewing Lessons in the East Bay with Better Living Through Sewing

*basic and advanced sewing techniques
*working with commercial patterns
*altering and reconstructing garments
*installing zippers and hems
*advanced construction techniques for working with fabrics such as velvet, sheers, and knits
I've taught hundreds of people to sew in the Bay Area at The Crucible and ASUC Art studio over the past 10 years, from beginner to advanced levels.
Classes and private lessons are held in my private North Oakland studio, or, in some cases, I can travel to you. My class sizes are small so you get personalized attention in a fun, supportive and creative environment.
