Seeking to purchase room, studio or condominum (SF Bay Area)

My name is Christoph, originally I am from Germany, and I am working on developing my career as life coach, writer and motivational speaker (see my youtube channel below)


As I am working on become established as a professional I am still (but not for much longer) without regular income, but due to an inheritance I can pay up to 35.000 in cash, and I will receive about the same amount again towards the end of the year, and while this is far beyond what normally a place goes for in this area I hope we can make a deal.

What I am looking for is a small but cozy guest house or in-law unit, condominium, studio or even just a room in a bigger house with access to the kitchen (this is probably never heard of before, but why not buy a room in a house...so maybe I can make a deal with the owner of a house who is willing to sell me the life long rights to a smaller unit in his property).

I am looking for a place where noise is not really a problem since I love listening to music, and sometimes quite loud, and I am hosting my own internet chat program which sometimes goes on until the early morning. I would like to live in a place where my 2 daughters (16 and 17) could visit me, as well as my mother from Germany, and I also would like to be able to facilitate small group meetings, seminars and workshops.

It would be ok to live in the city, even though I dont like the hectic and the noise. I would love to live in Berkley or Pacifica (which is where I am living now), would also consider a good area in Oakland, but also other places here in the Bay Area, depending on what you have to offer and how well this meets my needs.

I am not interested in a situation with financing and banks and monthly fees, and my credit is rather bad, so I would like to make a deal directly with the owner who has a property,


I am also open to work with other investors who are also interested in buying a place and can contribute their financial share.


One of my visions has been to create and live in a community of and for people who help each other and work together, and so I am also very open to be exploring this possiblity.
