Seeking to buy a room in a bigger house, condiminium or apartment for around 30K cash (SF Bay Area)

My name is Christoph, originally I am from Germany, and I am a life long student and aspiring teacher in the School of Life.


I do not have a regular income at this point, but am working on developing my career as life coach, writer and motivational speaker (see my youtube channel below)


I received some cash from an inheritance, and so after having moved around more than a dozen times in the past few years I am ready to get settled down.

I will be getting some more money towards the end of the year, but at this point I could offer around 30K for a room in a bigger house with access to the kitchen, or maybe an in-law unit or a small condiminium somewhere here in the area, a nice place where noise is not really a problem since I have my own internet chat program which sometimes goes on until the wee hours of the morning, a place where I also could hold group meetings, seminars and workshops for conscious rEvolution, which then could become a solid source for a regular income.


I also have a 16 year old son who lives in Kansas in a very difficult situation, and so once I get a place we can become reunited again, which has been a dream for me since I moved to this area, but now this is a possiblity which can come true, and so it would be great to find the kind of place where this would be possible, and also where my 2 daughters (16 and 17) who are living in the area could visit me and stay over if they want to (if you want to see my children check out my myspace profile: home.myspace.com/index.cfm They are under my top 3 ;-), also my aging mother (75) from Germany who would love to come visit her son in his own home.

I am not interested in a situation with financing and banks and monthly fees, but rather would like to make a deal directly with the owner who has a property, but I am also am open to work with other investors who are also interested in buying a place and can contribue their financial share. One of my ideas has been always to create and live in a community of and for people who help each other and work together, and so this is also another opportunity to explore.

I lived off and on in the city for about 5 years, which I enjoyed, then I lived in Fairfield, which is too hot for my taste, and now I am in Pacifica. I would greatly enjoy living close to the ocea, but I also think living in berkley would be awesome, also oakland is something I would consider, but it would have to be in a good area.
