Our team is looking for an experienced ScrumMaster to combine successful software development process experience with effective collaboration, facilitation, leadership, and coaching skills across our CPM division. Currently, we are re-architecting the CPM division's most critical suite of applications and ramping our development process using the Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver features in short iterations, with greater visibility and predictability; a qualified Scrum Master will be required to help push the process through. Our ideal candidate will: serve as ScrumMaster for one or two Scrum Teams concurrently; identify and remove roadblocks for teams; work with the Product Owner to maximize ROI, and meet the Program’s objectives through Scrum; work with the Product Owner and development team to ensure sprint goals and backlog features are held to; and ensure that the rules of Scrum are followed (collaboration, prioritization, accountability). To be successful, the candidate must have 2-4 years experience project managing commercial software development projects using agile (Scrum, XP, etc.) and traditional (iterative and/or waterfall) methodologies, have thorough knowledge of agile development and process concepts/practices/procedures, and a thorough expertise with the SLDC. Do you fit the bill?

Requirements: Functional Competencies:

• 2 -4 years experience project managing commercial software development projects using agile (Scrum, XP, etc.) and traditional (iterative and/or waterfall) methodologies.

• Knowledge of agile development and process concepts, practices, and procedures.

• Thorough knowledge of the software development lifecycle, QA and test methodologies and processes, and experience with one (or more) products through all phases of the software development life cycle.

• Ability to accurately distinguish which issues, dependencies, and risks are critical, demonstrate flexibility when prioritizing those issues, and identify, develop, negotiate, and optimize solutions with the Team, internal and external “consultant” groups, and stakeholders.

• Understanding of web technologies, development languages and environments, with C#, ASP, .NET, Ruby, and XML preferred.

• Able to travel internationally and domestically on occasion.
