Reiki is a system of natural healing that originated in Japan during the early 1900’s and has since become popular worldwide. Reiki utilizes spiritually guided life-force energy to facilitate holistic health and well-being. Reiki works on all levels: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual, lovingly supporting a person throughout their growth and healing process.
The beneficial effects of Reiki include:
*Stimulates and supports the body’s natural healing processes
*Alleviates stress and induces a state of deep relaxation
*Helps in relieving physical and mental/emotional pain
*Assists in releasing energy blockages and suppressed emotions
*Facilitates mental/emotional balance
*Works synergistically with traditional and alternative medicine practices

*Helps to relieve the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation

Reiki is always beneficial and can be used on its own, or in combination with other kinds of care, acting to reduce negative side effects, shorten healing time, reduce or eliminate pain, reduce stress, and help create optimism.
Each Reiki session is unique and varies somewhat from person to person. However, most people experience feelings of deep relaxation, peace, and well-being. Many feel a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and surrounds them. At the end of the treatment, one usually feels refreshed and revitalized, with a more positive, balanced outlook. Reiki sessions are administered to fully clothed clients on a massage table. Soft music and candlelight/natural light are used to create a relaxing and uplifting sacred space for healing to unfold gently and naturally.
As a Usui Reiki Master-Teacher, Karuna Reiki® Master-Teacher, and Level 6 Lightarian™ Reiki Master-Teacher, I am fully trained and attuned to administer the highest frequency bands of Reiki energies and have many years of experience working with students and clients. Reiki has been an extraordinary blessing to my life and the lives of my family and friends. I’m excited to be able to offer healing services to others, so that they may have the opportunity to experience Reiki for themselves. Many of the clients I’ve worked with have found Reiki to be so beneficial, they have gone on to become Reiki practitioners.
All in-person healing sessions are held in my private practice healing space, located in the North of the Panhandle section of San Francisco. Treatments are provided in a warm, nurturing, non-judgmental environment.
