Dr. Cory, a busy naturopathic doctor, is seeking a dynamic, energetic assistant to join the support team and help take the business to the next level.
Desired qualifications and qualities:
* detail-oriented
* friendly, with excellent phone skills
* communicative and of high integrity
* Macintosh proficient
* responsible, reliable
* efficient, well-organized
* flexible, self-motivated and able to work independently
Skills that would be a PLUS:
* knowledge of Quickbooks software, bookkeeping experience
* experience with web site design and/or management
* graphic design, marketing
* writing
It’s not necessary to have a lot of knowledge in natural medicine, just an openness, awareness and interest in the basic concepts of natural health and preventative medicine.
Responsibilities will include:
- Receiving orders, packing and shipping
- Assisting with class preparation
- Client liason - phone and email
- Research, as needed
- Data entry
- Managing and updating web site
- General office/administrative work to keep the business running smoothly
- Creating and maintaining organizational infrastructures
- Helping to create educational and promotional material
Opportunity for growth and expansion of duties and responsibilities as the company grows. 6 hours per week (3 hours, twice per week). Working in home office setting. Schedule is negotiable, but Tuesdays and Thursdays would be ideal. $15/hour to start. The arrangement will be evaluated after 3 months, with potential for increase in both hours and pay. Perks include discounts on products and services, training and education in diverse fields.

About Dr. Cory:
Cory Reddish, ND received her doctorate from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon in 1998, and is licensed in both California and Washington. She founded the Uptown Center of Natural Medicine and Uptown Natural Pharmacy in Port Townsend, WA, where she enjoyed a thriving practice for 6 years. Dr. Cory has been a guest faculty member at several colleges and retreat centers. Currently she has relocated to Mill Valley to develop a line of quality nutritional and herbal products, teach her Essential Cleanse Program, and consult privately-empowering people to become healthier and happier, while having fun along the way! She recently joined the Transcendentist team to help clients with mercury detoxification and naturopathic support for dental and other health issues.
