Responsible for developing and coordinating the Private Bank's Legal Practice within the region. This is an experienced level Relationship Manager with primary focus on acquiring new law firm clients, cross-sell of existing law firm client relationships, and maintaining an active referral network within the legal community.
Initiates contacts, assesses requirements, and customizes the array of products and services for law firms and legal professionals.
Responsible for the management and servicing of the client relationship, and for the growth and profitability of relationships in the unit.
Proactively advises and consults with clients to enhance the clients' experience with the bank, and maximize the bank's return from the client.
Responsible for analyzing clients' credit needs and then making appropriate recommendations. This is an experienced level Relationship Manager whose clients expect their banker to provide high quality financial information and personal service.
Coordinate law firm industry events within the region to promote Union Bank of California as the premier provider of banking services to the legal services industry.
Qualifications:
Requires a minimum of 6 years direct work experience in commercial lending with significant experience developing legal clients preferred. Competent knowledge of personal and business financial statements and tax returns, and financial acumen as it pertains to the affluent market segment. Candidate should have their Series 7, Series 66, and California Insurance license. Completion of graduate studies with a MBA preferred. Knowledge of consumer and business products and services including operations, loan policies and procedures, estates and investments. Strong sales and service orientation.
