I've had some wonderful responses to the last ad, but it was from a few couples, and the place is a little cramped for that. Now that that's otta the way...
It's a two-person situation inside the house, with common living room, kitchen and backyard (and plenty of street parking). Public transit is all around and getting to UC campus or San Fran is easy. Ideally I need someone who is busy as a student or with their career (ie. you gotta kick ass at something!). 20's to 30 something Creative folks (that can pay rent) must apply! Respect for this being a home is also a must (but not anal), ie. Quiet when the other is sleeping at night unless we're both up reviewing the day over a beer or making music etc... Cool lil bar up the street with darts and connect-four. Planned parties/get togethers with friends are great- just no frequent "high- school" drinkin crash pad and hangin stuff (that guy lasted a week)- It's just not the vibe o the spot. Shared or separate food ok. Trips to Trader Joe's. Random backyard get togethers may occur- let's bbq while the weather's good! I'm an opportunivore, but vegan friendly and can be found experimenting with indian-pakistani spices in the kitchen from time to time. I'm a performer- always in and out of the house for work, usually work weekend nights late, & will be gone sometimes for weeks at a time. I'm fun to be around though when I'm here!

Other shtuff: there's a cottage apt. in the back that's rented. Eddy is a landscape architect from Austin and will probably be there a year. He's got his own entrance down the side of the house. There's a 3rd bedroom connected to the house- a converted garage. This room is cheaper and the tenant shares the use of the house, and the entrance is outside. This is currently occupied by a wonderful student-artist, Ariel. The landlady (my mom, officially the coolest landlord in berkeley), lives in Thailand but stays in the garage from time to time between her travels.
Small pets ok! We do have a secure backyard as long as you clean up!
