Job Duties:
*.- Maintains, administers and provides Help Desk support for internal applications, hardware and software
*.- Primary technical resource to end users
*.- Resolves or escalates IT-related problems as appropriate
*.- Assembles, configures, installs, troubleshoots and repairs computer systems, including hardware, software, email, network and peripheral equipment
*.- Assists IT manager with network security maintenance
*.- Assists with the maintenance and upgrade of the internal Intranet
*.- Assists staff members as requested
*.- Assists in instructing users in standard business and administrative software
*.- Documents new procedures for future reference
*.- Describes his daily activities with accuracy for billing and record keeping
*.- Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
*.- Six months to two years of similar or related experience
*.- A two-year degree in Computer Science or completion of a specialized course or an equivalent combination of education and experience
*.- Working knowledge and ability to perform diagnosis and maintenance of hardware, software, LAN and associated peripherals
*.- Ability to write simple PC-based software applications and reports
*.- Possession of technical project management skills, analytical skills and problem solving skills
*.- Ability to work and travel independently
*.- Ability to operate general office equipment
*.- Ability to lift 40 pounds without assistance
*.- Possession of a valid California Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record
*.- Availability on a rotating on-call basis, including evenings and weekends
*.- Spanish speaker, a plus.
