The Local Clean Energy Alliance of the East Bay is working to build
support for clean energy development in our region. Under California
law, cities and counties can act as buyers coops by purchasing their
own energy in the open market, or by issuing tax-free bonds to invest
in their own energy facilities.

Burners Without Borders works in very fundamental disaster relief work
around the world. They began in response to the Katrina disaster in
the Gulf (which continues), earthquake disaster relief in Peru, flood
disaster relief work in Fernley, NV, as well as Black Rock Solar, a
solar company devoted to providing solar power in underprivileged
communities and schools in Nevada.
Time: 7:30 to 9:30 pm
Location in the Bayview area of SF:
2151 Jennings Street on corner of Wallace and Jennings Street.
(Right around the corner from the Cataclysmic Megashare Ranch).
Here are the directions.
101South to Silver Exit. Take Silver, take right on Bayshore, First
left at Gas Station, GO two blocks, Take next left go up one block,
take right at FoodsCo, go straight past police station, cross third,
go two blocks, take right on Jennings. We are on the corner. Big
warehouse.
By public transit take the T line down third and get off at Williams
across from Walgreens and walk down williams two blocks till you get
to Jennings, take a right and we are on the corner.
Its best to MapQuest it because there are many ways of getting here.
