The Semiconductors sector within Equity Research is looking for strong Research Associate in the San Francisco office. The role involves building and maintaining models, as well as writing research notes and industry pieces. The team is looking for strong analytical candidates, with a passion for Equity Research.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Creation and maintenance of earnings, valuation and industry models leveraging skills in accounting, finance, economics, and statistics
• Research and write reports with a company or sector specific focus
• Respond to requests for data, information and calls from internal and external clients
• Keep abreast of industry-related news flow
• Develop and maintain relationships with investor relations personnel and management of companies under coverage
• Develop forecasting models using economics/statistics Regular interaction with equity sales force
• Understand the nuances of the industry
Skills Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Statistics or Accounting required
• Industry experience preferred
• Strong computer skills/information systems background a plus
• 3-5 years of relevant experience a plus
• Outstanding analytical/financial skills
