Point Global Staffing, a Top Quality Recruiting Firm has an immediate need for a CNC Programmer MasterCAM or GibbsCAM (Santa Clara)
Our client is Silicon Valley's premier provider of advanced manufacturing
solutions. For over 20 years, they have partnered with clients from startups
to Fortune 500 companies to provide high quality, flexible and
cost-competitive manufacturing and assembly services.
They are looking for a CNC programmer with the following
skills/requirements:
*knowledgeable in either GibbsCAM or MasterCAM
*familiar with machining practices on CNC vertical and horizontal mills
*self starter
*can work well in teams
*minimum 3 years experience
*can work quickly to create CNC programs
*has the ability to plan out a job from start to finish (i.e., what material
to use, how many operations required to machine part, what outside steps are
required such as EDM, stress relief, lapping, what tools to use, can design
fixturing if necessary, etc...)
*familiar with cutting in a variety of materials such as aluminum, steels,
titanium, plastics, kovar, invar etc...
*A stable work history. This is extremely important****
*familiar with machine operation and can set up and run a job if necessary
This position is available immediately and is full time.
They offer competitive compensation depending on experience and skill level
