New Sunday morning dance venue seeking assistant to help promote and manage event on Mission and 22nd Street, San Francisco.
Job entails distribution of flyers, placing ads, hiring and managing staff for ticket sales and security, set-up and take down, signage, coordinate equipment installation, and general errands.
4 hours every Sunday morning when venue begins November 1 and 6 hours during week.
Looking for people with:
• Persona: outgoing, charismatic, works well with people, self-starter
• Knowledge: Mission District, preferably familiar with SF freestyle dance community
• Experience: event production and management
• Capacities: able to get around SF to distribute flyers, basic graphics production (signs, placards, etc)
This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a new dance practice, build resume, network, and potentially take on more responsibilities if all goes well
Pay: $10/hr to start
