I often wonder what it must have been like in olden tribal days. Rough at times I'm sure, but never alone. I'm a helpful giver kinda guy. Still, I don't have much to offer my friend who is in a dire situation. All I have is a heart to listen, my strength to assist, and my voice and my voice to share. So, all I can do is share her letter and see if anyone else in the collective tribe might have a solution for her...
as most of you know, lys and i moved into an apartment in berkeley where government officials sit outside in black cars with black tinted windows "waiting" for whatever concerns they most rightfully have, where elysia randomly comes into contact with a pit bull who bit the mailman, where we have had no heat for a month, and where the words and music we MUST listen to at all hours is so negative that even our cats cannot handle it so they are bloodying each other up which has NEVER happened before.
as well, we have been threatened to get out of this neighborhood by the peeps who chill in it and there are drug deals plus who knows what else happening in our yard randomly.
THEREFORE, we are moving again on saturday, the 1st of march.
once again, though we have been looking for this whole month for an affordable safer habitable place to live we have not, yet, discovered where that will be.
still, we must move out to somewhere from here on saturday all day.
yes...
again...
i feel so ashamed to ask and, most certainly, unworthy but we need help, please...
even more than was offered last time as we are doubly, if not quadruply, drained and basically traumatized right now.
gather posse's of people we have yet to meet, if you must...
maybe i am biased, but helping a hard working single mother with her amazingly brilliant daughter is good karma and would be so incredibly appreciated.
we need a truck or many as i truly cannot afford another uhaul.
deeeep thanks to those who are ALWAYS there and Bless you if you just can't help this time...
please rsvp as soon as possible.
