I have a good size 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment in the Marina (Lombard & Pierce). The rent is $975, plus utilities (about $75 ea.) I would consider a somewhat "short term" roommate for a unique situation. I'd also love a part time roommate.
The room is average size, about 10' x 12' with a closet along one wall. It has it's own bathroom. The living/dining room area gets sun all day long. There is a big brick fireplace, large kitchen with tile countertops, gas stove, DW and disposal. Plus, I have a microwave, toaster oven and tons of kitchen stuff. I have an apartment full of furniture. Currently the room is furnished, but it does not need to be. There is a W/D in the building. Admittedly, I am a little messy, but clean. I just have a lot of stuff, and this apartment does not have a lot of storage space.
In case you don't know the area, it's a great one. You can walk to tons of restaurants, bars, stores, movie theaters, the water & Marina Green, Ft. Mason Ctr, Palace of Fine Arts, Crissy Field, The Presidio, the Wharf, Pac. Heights and more. Some of the close bus lines include 30 Stockton, 30X, 22 Fillmore, 43 Masonic, 28, plus others. It is also just a few minutes to the GG Bridge.
I am looking for someone who is laid back, mature (prefer 30s or 40s - if you are still in your 20s please be really mature), generally considerate, responsible, financially secure and can clean up after themselves. Sorry - no pets, no smokers or drugs. Sorry - there is no available parking, no wood floors and no architectural charm (depending on your definition of charm ;). Parking in the area can be tough, depending on your hours, but there are places nearby that do monthly parking.
I am female, very laid back, easy to get along with, and very considerate. I would like to show it by appointment so please contact me. Please let me know your situation (age, employment, time frame to move, what you are looking for...) I would like to have someone move in as close to July 1 as possible.
