I have a room becoming available March 1st in the Mission District. The room is approx 12x14, has a closet, and is very sunny with a nice view of Bernal Heights. The rent is $670 and the deposit is $910 (which can be paid over a few months). Monthly bills of internet & pg&e are split 3 ways and average $60-$70 per person during the winter. There is no cable or phone land line.
The flat also has a decent sized living room, a large kitchen, and separate shower & toilet as well as some extra closets for storage. The unit has hard wood floors and gets a lot of sunlight. The location is convenient to all kinds of public transportation (Bus 14, 49, 67, 26 & BART).
There are 2 other roommates in the flat. One is moving in on March 1st also so I don't know a lot about her yet other than she seems to be very nice and down to earth. The other roommate is myself. I'm kind of an alternative type guy currently going to SF State to get my degree in sound recording. I'm a vegan but don't expect my roommates to be (though preference will be given to vegetarians). I'm not around a lot between work and school but on nights that I am home (Friday & Saturday) I do occasionally like to cook for other roommates if they're around too.
I'm looking for someone who's employed and has a life of their own (meaning that they have goals in life they're trying to attain, the opposite of slacker if you will). I'm looking for easy going, no drama types who are interested in making the place they live a real home. Non-smokers only and I'd prefer to have another woman in the house but would consider a guy if he seemed a good fit.
If you're interested drop me a line. I'd like to line up times for people to comes see the place on Saturday & Sunday 2/23 & 2/24.
