TWO Rooms for Rent in a Gay Friendly Oakland Household (3 bedrooms, 2 bath):
98th Avenue, Toler Heights, Oakland – Closer to local Fire Department, Bishop O’Dowd High School, and Oakland Zoo.
TWO (2) ROOMS, will be rented SEPARATELY, both will be ready to rent on March 1st – March 15th.

ABOUT US:
• My partner and I are looking for a dependable and settled roommate(s) that pays on time.
• Must love domestic cats and keep doors promptly closed. We have 2 pets (boy and a girl) and they are really easy going & are more like our kids than pets.
• We are both non-smokers. Rarely…casual drinkers.
• We are not wild party folk, but can have some fun here and there!
• ONE of us cooks and the other one eats frozen. No need to fuss over the kitchen schedule!
IDEAL ROOM MATE:
• Couples are OK to share one (1) of the rooms. No “Drama Trauma,” please.
• Non-smoker, please. If you chose to smoke outside that would be fine.
• Social Drinker is OK.
• No additional pets, please
• We are not neat freaks, but like an environment you could invite friends over.
• The household is pretty open minded about the important things; religion, politics, sun screen, reality television, etc. So, you can be free to be YOU!
• If you are just starting or starting over…
THE SPACE (really like a mini apartment):
• TWO (2) unfurnished rooms available.
~ONE (1) secured room has a view of Oakland & S.F. (sunny).
~ONE (1) secured room is in the back of the home (subdued lighting).
• Both have Hardwood floors, and nice spacious closets...plus ceiling fan for good measure.
• Shared upstairs restroom between the room(s).
• Front living room (hard wood floors) is furnished (BUT YOU CAN BRING YOUR OWN FURNITURE IF YOU WOULD LIKE) and will be shared by tenants (all yours).
• We (my partner and I)will use den as our living room exclusively.
• Dining room (hardwood floors) is furnished (all yours too).
• Entire house shares kitchen space.
• Bathroom is being renovated as you read!
• You are welcome to paint room(s) if you leave the rooms a neutral color before you leave.
• Pleasant back deck separate from the street that hardly ever gets used.
• Very quiet neighbors!
THE BILLS:
• You will be responsible for 1/3rd (1 tenant) or 1/4th (2 tenants) the cost of PG&E, Waste Management, and Water (EBMUD).
• There are optional amenities ( NOT INCLUDED) that you may consider to pay for:
o Downstairs Washer/Dryer
o Key Code Secured - Comcast High Speed Internet (you’ll need your own wireless router
o DirecTV
o Dishwasher coming soon
Now to the business end of it all…
1. $550.00 MONTHLY, after TWELVE (12) month lease has expired then month to month.
2. $500.00 Deposit
3. $550 LAST MONTH rent to move in.
=$1600.00 total
Total to make this space home sweet home by March 1st is $1600 (1st Month $550.00+ Last Month $550.00 and Deposit $500.00)
