I want to create a house-hold of like-minded and like-hearted beings who hold conscious living, eating and communicating as sacred acts. I am looking for roommates who meditate/yoga, eat vegetarian, prefer chill candle-light to over-head lighting, floor seating, lots of plants, non-violent communication -- basically -- creating a peaceful and creative oasis in the heart of the Mission. Most importantly, I am interested in roommates who value mindful self- reflection and clear communication, honesty, warmth/kindness, taking responsibility, cleanliness and for their home to be a sanctuary.
ABOUT THE APARTMENT : This place is AWESOME -- I am so happy/grateful to have found it. This extra-large and spacious apartment with working gas fireplace is located on 24th Street between Mission and Capp - literally 4 doors from BART. All rooms have beautiful hard-wood floor. The Living Room is double the size of normal living rooms and has 6 Bay windows over looking Bernal Heights. The kitchen is brand newly remodeled (Corian type counter tops) and hasnt been used yet since its renovation. The apartment is on the top floor which gets unobstructed north, south and western sun. 12' ceilings. Double-pained windows keeping out all the city-sounds. 1 bathroom with separate toilet. Bedrooms are large with walk-in closet and even a little window in the closet. Great place!
ABOUT ME: I am a 29 year old gay-male artist, teacher and healer. I teach children self-awareness and meditation and have a Tarot and
Vibrational Acupuncture practice. I also create art installations out of organic material from the Earth. I am very down-to-earth, easy to
talk to as well as a skilled listener. I would say my energy is fluid and compassionate. I tend to ride btwn the creative and the spiritual
often integrating the two.
I am asking for bedroom #1 (15x14) = $900 as this is the normal extra-large bedroom with closet and 2 extra-large windows.
I am asking for bedroom #2 (15x15) = $750 as this bedroom is a large room that has closet in hall. Very nice room, however, especially for the price.
Move-in is from March 15th on. The sooner the better.
