Summer Rose Care with Ed Holm

Learn how to care for your roses so they bloom lushly through the summer. Ed Holm will talk about proper fertilization, watering techniques, mulching, and spraying. He will demonstrate summer pruning for optimum rose health and bloom. He will also share with us the names of some of the new roses that have been developed over the past four years.
Ed Holm is a popular speaker on many subjects at Gamble Garden. In addition to 35 years teaching horticulture and writing articles for Pacific Horticulture and other publications, he has years of hands-on horticultural experience. He is currently associated with Wegman's Nursery in Redwood City and does home consultation on landscape design, plant diseases, pruning, and general landscape care.
