Persephone Dance Company (PDC) offers performance and instruction in American Tribal Style® bellydance; a group synchronized-improvisational form relying on a shared movement vocabulary and cues to communicate among dancers. Classes are taught by FatChanceBellyDance® (FCBD®) Sister Studio certified instructor and co-founder of Persephone Dance Company, Natalia Chang. Current class offering is Beginning/Fundamentals Level 1. Level 2 will commence later this year. All skill and experience levels, body types, and adult women welcome in Level 1 (please contact instructor if your minor wishes to attend). Performance opportunities possible.

Persephone Dance Company is an Improvisational Tribal Style (ITS) belly dance troupe rooted in American Tribal Style® (ATS®), as developed over 20 years by San Francisco based Carolena Nericcio, Director of FatChanceBellyDance®. Firmly grounded in ATS®, we draw upon the rich and varied vocabulary of many dance forms and our own special connection as sisters-in-dance to create the unique experience that is Persephone Dance Company. Persephone Dance Company was formed in 2009 by Natalia Chang, Stefanie Kelly, Shawn Ryan, and Casey. Natalia Chang instructs the Persephone Dance company ATS Belly Dance classes. Natalia is a registered Sister Studio of FCBD® and ATS® certified in Teacher Trainings 1 & 2 by FCBD® and Carolena Nericcio.
