OF COURSE: DANCE WAS IN YOUR FUTURE!
A hindsight dispatch from the year 2121
Before the invention of crumbless toast, before the last George W. Bush library was dismantled (or was renamed the G.W. Bush “Lie-brary”), the end of peak oil and the rise of peak consciousness, there was the Groove Garden.
And whooooda knew that waaaaay back when, in the year nineteen-hundred and ninety-nine when we were a swingin’ hippie hideout of sandle-flappin, crystal-swingin’, granola-crunchin’ purple-wearing freaks starting a dance event that, in 2008, we’d still be all that, and also be a buncha’ patchouli burnin,’ interpretative dancing,’ bass-huffin, groove smacked, beat munching, dancehumpin’ community peeps that refuses to fade away, but grow stronger with every turn of the tables, drop of the bassline and whack of the drum. Well, its all in the sound...its all in the people!
And, ya know how it goes, back then we knew how to hook’em cause the first fix was always free...and so now you are hooked….Yep, if only all of your vices were so healthy…
Today, with the added heft of a brand spankin’ new sound system and even bigger sweet spot we are gonna groove, move and soothe you like there is no tomorrow. So come Live-Life-Large on the dancefloor – be your most resplendent self and we’ll shine with you!
