You're going to be tired of turkey leftovers, so come out, eat Domina's justly famous sloppy joes and watch some of the bay area's dominants make turkeys out of themselves!!
The premise is that a top is washed ashore on a desert island, with whatever flotsam and jetsam floats in with him. After assuring his basic comforts, he spends his time making toys and watching the horizon for rescue. Finally, one day, another person washes ashore and they are a bottom!!!! All those toys will finally find a use.
Now here is how it really works, for those of you who have managed to avoid it until now. The contestants get a bag of items put together by "The Frugal Domme" and have two hours (from 2-4PM) to make functional toys out of them. THEN they draw for bottoms. They can end up with a bottom of any gender or orientation. It's all in the luck of the draw.
After that, they have to perform a scene in front of the audience and a panel of judges. And to the music that also has washed ashore. (Last year it was Abba. This year...?)
If you know anyone who was there last year, this is a LOT of fun. So come out to Edges and join the party! We're serving a lunch from 2-4 while the tops make toys. (You can watch them work, but you can't help or comment!) and then from 4-6, watch the contest.
This event is being held at Edges (www.edges.biz) for the benefit of Food For Thought, an Aids Food Bank that Domina volunteers at.
$20 at the door (or $15 without lunch).
There is an open play party that evening open to Edges Members. Check the website for details.
