The producers of Baxtalo Drom, The Lucky Road, San Francisco’s premier Gypsy Punk Dance Party bring you a smokin’ hot Fourth of July edition! Along with a few of our local favorites, we will be hosting some of the finest gypsy punk entertainment the Pacific Northwest has to offer with the incredible Fabuluxe cabaret show from Seattle and DJ Global Ruckus from Portland. This is a Fourth of July weekend kick off you wont want to miss! Baxtalo Drom has teamed up with the producers of the Hubba Hubba Review to showcase the innovative performers, musicians, and designers influenced by all things gypsy, balkan, belly dance, and being on the road. We are excited to bring our intimate monthly event, usually hosted at Amnesia and now in our 3rd year, to the DNA Lounge for this special edition! FABULUXE is a spectacular cabaret variety show featuring some of Seattle’s most prominent burlesque & cabaret stars. Fuchsia Foxxx, Sassy Delure, Ben DeLaCreme and The Shanghai Pearl they have created a sell out show featuring mind-blowing belly dance, classic over-the-top burlesque, sensational drag and comedy, and alluring modern cabaret dance that is sure to inspire, seduce, provoke, and delight any crowd. DJ GLOBAL RUCKUS will have you shaking the floorboards loose with his Balkan beats and gypsy grooves- think Gogol Bordello, Balkan Beatbox, Amsterdam Klezmer Band, and Beats Antique... MIRA BETZ, a stunning dancer who evokes the the golden era of glamour with her elegant take on belly dance. ROSE HARDEN, this hypnotic belly dancer seamlessly weaves vintage sensibilities with contemporary tribal fusion. The GYPSY BAZAAR features unique local designers vending their handmade goods so you can doll up and support small, local business!
