As you've probably already heard, the Matchbook Collective (or rather, the people formerly known as the Matchbook Collective) are putting on the Anarchist Cafe this year. We're all really excited about it, and are looking forward to what's shaping up to be a pretty fun evening. There's only one problem. we're a small group of people and the cafe needs a lot of people for it to run smoothly. I'm sure you can guess whats coming next. Yup, we need your help. We need volunteers for food prep, and serving, and set up and clean up and working the door. And we need lots of them. Want to be one?
We'll be signing people up for 45 minute shifts (although we might ask for a longer commitment from some of the cooks). We don't have specific slots, for now we're hoping to build up a list of available folks, we'll get back to you once we know where you're needed most. If you're interested, send an email to matchbook@123mail.org with the following info:
--Your name, email, and telephone
--Times you're available to help (we need help from 3:30-11PM)
--Any jobs you really don't want to do
We'll contact you a week or so before the event with more specifics.

The Anarchist Cafe is back!
Friday, March 21st 7-10 p.m.
225 Potrero Ave. (Between 15th and 16th Street) San Francisco
(Close to 9,22, and 33 bus lines, closest BART 16th/Mission, followed by 15 min. walk or 22 bus down 16th St.)
After being gone for a year (yes, of course, the government was responsible) the Anarchist Cafe will once again happen on Friday March 21st from 7-10pm, the night before the Anarchist Bookfair.
We will have food and performances indoors and hang out space outdoor (it is covered). We are serving dinner until 9pm or until the food runs out, whichever comes first. As in past years, the cafe will happen at 225 Potrero Avenue in San Francisco. We are asking for a donation of up to $20 at the door, but no one will be turned away. The money will go to fund the host space and to support political projects. Please no drugs or alcohol. Note the earlier ending time, so you don't show up late and get disappointed.
